Raje Vishveshwarrao Arts and Comm. College, Bhamragarh was established by Vanwasi Vikas Pratisthan, Mumbai in 2001. The college is having its own building and play ground that includes a land area of about 3 acres, has grown to a strength of more than 160 students. This college is affiliated to Gondwana University, Gadchiroli. Bhamragad is a Village and a taluka and a district sub-division in  Gadchiroli district in the Indianstate of Maharashtra. It is located on the right banks of a confluence of three rivers: The Indravati River, a tributary of Godavari river, the Pearl Kota, and the Pamul Gautami. It is also located on the border of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh states of India. Tahsil located in remote tribal and naxal affected region of district Gadchiroli (Maharashtra). This private organization has been engaged in the field of education for the last four decades to provide proper and true scientific knowledge to the tribal and poor students of this remote area in Gadchiroli district. The famous Lok Biradari Prakalp is located near Hemalkasa a village in Bhamragad Taluka. This project was founded by Padma VibhushanBaba Amte, his son Padma Shri Dr. Prakash Amte is the present medical director. The population of this village is mainly Madia Gond. These all villages are situated in a unique forest. The forest is very vast, and all kinds of animals like monkeys, snakes etc. could be seen while travelling here.
